I'm a survivor!

Well, I have been home 2 weeks now today and I am actually pretty proud of myself. I live in my parents basement. I am going to church in my parents ward. I just got a part time job at the ever so famous Junior High. And yet I am trying to have a pretty good attitude about ALL of this!

I do miss Pablo and the WARM weather and a lot of things about Santiago. But it is so nice to eat American food, shower in a HOT shower and be around my family and friends.

(Update on those of you who I am making something for...I am very OPEN to ideas! Leave me a comment about something you want, would like, color schemes of your living rooms or whatever!)

Glad you're doing so well back here in the States-- I'm sure you're really missing your man though, but keep up the great job!
Ok, so i'm the LEAST picky person in the world about colors, items, crafts, etc... i LOVE everything! but if it makes it any easier for you, I love things to put in picture frames, love things for Ava, love cute sayings and such... i'm a typical Mormon gal! Hope any of those helped!

Becky, can I just tell you how I love to read your blogs and partake of your positive attitude!!! :-) You are so great and I just wanted to let you know. I'm sure it completely sucks with your cute fiance stuck in Chile and you being here (did you know I married a foreigner too?) It's tough, I didn't have to go through 1/2 of what you are but I think you are so great and strong and I just love ya!

You can do it hermanita! I'm glad you're settled back into home life... hope the Visa goes fast for Pablo. (once it gets down there you just need to stay in contact with the embassy to push it along - that's what Terri told me). Besos!

Hey Becki, congrats on your engagement! I'm sorry you have to be so far away from him, that is SO hard. But your attitude is no different than it was in Ecuador...so positive! Good luck with getting his Visa!
